It helps to say which device you are using (your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version, plus your Apple Watch if it is about the watch app) and which version of Remate you have, shown at the bottom of Settings. The diagnostics option under Settings, then Support, puts those details into a message for you. It never includes player names or scores.
Apple Watch
Remate is not on my Apple Watch
Remate for Apple Watch installs automatically with the iPhone app when your watch is set to install apps automatically. If it did not, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, scroll to Available Apps and tap Install next to Remate.
The watch app needs watchOS 10 or later.
How do I put the score on my watch face?
Touch and hold your watch face, tap Edit, choose a complication slot and pick Remate. While a match is on, the complication shows the live score, and the Smart Stack puts the score at the top. When no match is on, it offers a shortcut to start one.
A match I scored on my watch is not on my iPhone
Matches you finish on the watch are sent to your iPhone. If your phone is not nearby, the watch keeps the match and tells you Will sync when your iPhone is nearby. It is delivered the next time the two connect. Open Remate on your iPhone and check History. If it is still missing after a few minutes with both devices close together, email us.
Can I follow the score on my phone while the watch is scoring?
Yes. While a match is on, the Play tab on your iPhone shows a Live on Apple Watch card that opens a read-only scoreboard. You score on the watch and the phone shows it. You cannot add points from the phone while the watch is scoring.
Scoring
Which padel rules does Remate support?
- Advantage, Golden Point and Star Point
- Tiebreaks and super tiebreaks
- Sets of 4, 6 or 9 games, best of 1 or best of 3
- Serve rotation, so you always know who is serving
- Change-of-ends alerts
Choose your format under Settings, or use Customize Match to change it for a single match.
How do I undo a point?
On iPhone and iPad, tap Undo on the scoreboard. On the Apple Watch, an Undo button appears for a few seconds after every point, and Undo last point is always on the controls page: swipe up or turn the Digital Crown.
Remate Pro
What does Remate cost?
Remate is free to download. Scoring, history and stats are part of Remate Pro, which you can get as Lifetime (one payment) or Monthly (an auto-renewing subscription that starts with a 1-week free trial). The App Store sets the price for your country and shows it on the upgrade screen before you pay.
How do I cancel Monthly?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Remate and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial or the current period, or you will be charged for the next one. You keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles the payment, so refunds go through Apple too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund a purchase ourselves.
I already bought Pro, but Remate is asking me to upgrade
Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. If you have a new phone, this is how Pro comes back.
The upgrade screen says plans could not be loaded
That means the App Store did not answer. Check your connection and tap Try again. If it keeps happening, email us and tell us your country.
Apple Health
What does Remate save to Health?
When you score on the Apple Watch, Remate records the match as a workout in Health. Health has no padel workout type, so it appears as Tennis. During that workout Remate also reads your heart rate and active calories, to show them on the watch and in your History.
Heart rate or calories are not showing
Check that Remate is allowed in Health (Settings, then Health, then Data Access & Devices, then Remate) and that your watch is worn snugly on your wrist. Heart rate and calories only come from matches scored on the Apple Watch, since an iPhone has no sensor for them.
Does Remate read my other health data?
No. Remate only asks to save workouts and to read heart rate and active calories.
Your data
Where are my matches stored?
On your own devices. Remate has no account and no server. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I delete a match, or everything?
In History, swipe a match to delete it. Deleting the Remate app removes everything it stores on that device. Workouts saved to Health stay in Health until you delete them there.
Does Remate need an internet connection?
Remate uses the internet only to check your subscription and show prices. Scoring itself does not need a connection.
Requirements
iPhone or iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The Apple Watch app needs watchOS 10 or later.
